A Letter to Bush

With things detoriating in Iraq, as MSM claim, and the fact that there are pro-regime elements within the media and political circles inviting Pres. Bush to open up to the murderous Iranian regime, I think a few people/bloggers should come together and write a letter to President Bush advising him to help the people of Iran get rid of this regime and use his influence and power to accelerate this process. If you feel you'd like to contribute to this thing, please let me know and you can also add your words both in Persian or English to this letter which I am about to write soon.

Please note that all ideas are welcome, even if you disagree with my political viewpoints. Our ultimate goal is to help free Iran before it is late. We can do this if we just believe in it.

Thank You
----

I am in dude.
Please keep in mind to remind him that it's not only good for iranian people to get rid of these regime, but also it's good for all middle east and even the whole world. This Mollahs are funding Hezbollah, Hamas and a handful of other Islamic militias all across the globe and there's no worse threat to peace than them.
I know they(Bush administration) don't fucking care about Iran, so tell them that for the sake of American government and Israel mollahs must go to hell.

Dear Winston,
You know I will write a letter. I have been very concerned about the Iranian people, as well the Iraqi and Lebanese people. Israelis as well. I will never deny that.

I have found some links to people who have verified that the AP is getting it's news from our enemies. He also has another update.

He has already stated he will not meet with Ahmadinejad, but I don't like these backdoor deals either. I will e-mail the letter to you later. I need to cool off a bit to be diplomatic. :)

Sina, I want people to tell me what they wish to be included in this letter. What message do you want this letter to convey?

Winston, you can count me in, but I'm sure I couldn't say anything more than what you would say.

I guess the only thing I could plead is that I want him to use his last two years in office to get really, really tough.

I'm like Rosemary. I'm totally baffled by all this diplomacy. About the only thing I can see that might be happening, but I doubt it, is that the Arab world is lining up with the West against Iran. But I suspect that is only wishful thinking, and hey, the Arab world isn't much better than Iran, just less powerful. I think they may have India onside, too. That's a lot of soldiers in an increasingly high-tech country, so that's good, if it's true.

Winston,

I support this move for whatever it might be worth.

I'd like to include in this letter that all President Bush is doing by letting terrorists like Mullah Khatami go on tour in America, amounts to appeasement of the Islamic Republic! As for all other individuals of the Islamic Republic on U.S. soil now and in the future should be declared "persona non grata"!

Also we need to convince him of the only solution on the U.S.' part in the stand-off with the Islamic Republic, is to support the Iranian People. If the U.S. Government does not want to support the Iranian People and Empower them against their oppressor we will know which side of the fence they stand on.

I think its a great idea, I don't think there is anything I can tell you that you don't already know, and the previous comments by others point to the most important things. I would however have a parapraph about the human right situation in Iran political prisoners etc...

Winston,

I want Mr Bush to bring the neo-cons back to his office for the remaining 2 years.Ask him not to let the Iraq issue stop the white house pushing mullahs to give up Iran and everything else you wanna add.

This Arian, (for some reason I can't post with under blogger name).

I am against George Bush's policies and disagree with your general philosophy, however, one of my most principles is that in the persuit of Iranian democracy, we cannot let our grievences and disagreements get in the way. The fundamental reason that Iran is still in grip of Taazi barbarianism is becuase we have yet to put aside our differences and unite for the common cause: Freedom.

So I honor my word and believe that even though George Bush could care less about Iran, at least we are making the adminstration aware that Iranians do actually have a voice and that we are going to use it. And that whatever he decides to do, he'll know that we are going to have something something to say about it and are going to be the first people he's going to have to face up to.

I am with you for writing this letter. And hopefully, this will be the first of many. The stronger our voice, the stronger our influence. (And without unity, we have no voice). I also agree with Shir_Khorshid and Street Number 11 that it should be mentioned that it would be in America's best interest to see this regime dismantled and incapacitated.
