Persian language news agency ILNA reports that some small scale protests are well under way in Tehran which I am going to translate below:
About one hundred workers from Tehran and Karaj gathered, yesterday, in front of regime's parliament demanding the change of labor laws, abolition of discrimination at work place and asking for the unpaid salaries due to them. ((Via Persian language Gooya News))
In another piece, I am reading about the protests that are going to be held, tomorrow, by the city of Tehran librarians and libraries' staff in front of the ministry of culture. They will ask for the salaries that are due to them for a long period of time.

It must be well over a year by now. But don't worry. All they have to do is join Hizbollah, go to Lebanon, and they can get some of that money which is where Iran is sending a lot its money!
I do not blame them for being upset with these terrorists organizations. And they are. The regime better be careful, or they might just get rioted right out of office! Yippee!
don`t hold your breath folks. protests in Iran have never realy been effective or made any positive change(post-revolution). in fact, we Iranians appearantly just LOVE!! to engae in public protests, be it inside or outside or Iran, pathetically thinking like the mullas in Iran or anyone else would give a rats ass or anything would change as a result!
the only element on the planet that can oust the IRI is the US military plus proper management (unlike the case with Iraq).

If the world would focus its attention on the people of Iran instead of the mullahs and ayatollahs, then maybe something would be practical. As it is, I blame the media. There are many of us who write about these protests and political prisoners, but how many times do you see it on TV? Hmm? They disgust me.
