Immadinjihad's US Allies

Immadinjihad seems to have found some new allies for the Islamic regime of Iran since he sounds like DemoNRats too.

I mean his letter to American people is just like what Leftists and Jihadists repeat. Don't you think so? He is asking for war and he is the excuse for whatever that happens to Iran. I often think it would be great if these cowards are bombed when they are asleep.

Actually this is the kind of regime Iranian people have been dealing with since 1979. A regime that does have no logic and doesn't understand reason and is intolerant of any dissent.

And I totally agree with what Kenneth Timmerman says:
In the earlier letter, which left the Bush White House shaking their heads with wonderment, the Iranian leader invited Bush to embrace Islam. That is a well-established Islamic tradition when dealing with an enemy just prior to war. If they refuse, then the Muslims are "justified" in destroying them.
Dump Bush, allow the Muslims to destroy Israel, and adopt Islam — or else you will be destroyed. This is Ahmadinejad's message.
Yep, this moron wants war with infidels and he'll get one for his dumb actions.

If you are so concerned about justice and human rights, maybe you should start at home. In America I can still criticize the government, I can still browse the web without government censorship, my favorite newspapers aren't arbitrarily shut down, and my sister or mother aren't hanged or stoned to death because they have an affair.

Yes, the American people don't trust our government (what is new?). But we sure as hell don't trust yours! You want us to embrace Islam; why don't you embrace Liberalism? Try having free and fair elections. Try adopting the Bill of Rights. Try finding jobs for your paramilitary Basiji's on welfare. The tyrant-in-Chief has no shame talking about justice and dignity while he has killed at least 2 political dissidents per day since he took office. He has no shame while he sends $300 million to Hizballah and $120 million to Hamas, thousands of Iranian workers go hungry and unpaid for months. He has the audacity to mention 'Katrina victims' and talk about the poor in the US while poverty, drug addiction (1 out of 16 is a drug addict), and prostitution(next to oil, exporting prostitutes is the Islamic Republic's biggest trade)rage in Iran. According to regime's own statistics, 40% of Iranians live below poverty level. I'm horrified by this man's malignant narcissim and megalomania. He is truly a disturbed individual.

Well Said, my friend.

This guy is mentally deranged

I just read his letter; I am astounded. It was hard to keep track of the blatant falsehoods and logical fallacies.

Having spent 8 years working with adults with chronic, severe, mental illness, I can tell you that this guy sounds delusional. I've had clients who could have framed a more accurate letter.

What planet is he on, anyway?

This is all just a PR attempt to keep adding fuel to the anti-American, pro-Islamic false aura of superiority. This man is not insane or delusional, he knows exactly what he is doing. When he says all the things he does, all the idiot Shiites of the region and the loyal Revolutionary Guard actually begin to believe such rubbish and that's exactly what he wants, believers. Idiot muslim pawns who actually believe the Islamic Republic, as an underdog, can defeat the Great Satan, the United States. Very clever man, much audacity indeed.

You take it for granted that you and the rest of us are educated and aware human beings, who can use common sense and logic to distinguish fact from fantasy. However, the rest of the world, primarily, the poverty-striken, Islam-blinded citizens of the Middle East, are not so fortunate. This man is offering a dream, and a lot of people are eating it right up.

Arian: I love your description of the "Islam blinded". Very fitting. Islam blinded and Islam-colonized, and not geographically but body, mind and soul too. Islamic colonization of body and mind...LOL

Most of this letter sounds like it was written by Moore of Kos:

But apart from his adopting of the Left’s mantras, the most revealing line is this:

“It is possible to lead the world towards the aspired perfection by adhering to unity, monotheism, morality and spirituality and drawing upon the teachings of the Divine Prophets.”

Look at that quote in conjunction with the key line his earlier letter to President Bush:

“Liberalism and Western-style democracy have not been able to help realize the ideals of humanity. Today these two concepts have failed. Those with insight can already hear the sounds of the shattering and fall of the ideology and thoughts of the Liberal democratic systems.”

Ahmadinejad has given us an important window into his motives. Like Bin Laden and the Wahhabiists, underlying his quest for power and influence is a desire to see a perfectionist society take hold across not just the Muslim world but everywhere.

Andrew Coyne summarized the idea of a perfectionist society, and how it contrasts with the ideas of the enlightenment, quite nicely during the "cartoon jihad":
