An Iranian blogger posts a few photos from a gathering of some 300-400 people protesting against Sivand dam construction, in front of regime's Islamic assembly in Tehran yesterday. They demand the Iranian government to stop construction of this dam and help preserve the historical sites in Sivand & Bolaghi regions. It's necessary to say that Sivand dam will submerge many important historical sites of the ancient Persian empire and this act by the Iranian regime is similar to what Taliban did to the Buddhas of Bamiyan couple of years ago.
