Pentagon & AEI

Just back from a meeting/tour at the Pentagon and American Enterprise Institute where I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Michael Ledeen and other fellows. This is actually the 2nd time I have managed to meet Mr. Ledeen in person and I hope I'll be able to see him again.

Unfortunately, photography was not permitted in DoD building and couldn't take any shot. But I can say it was the most impressive place I have ever been to. It's a city within a building. I'll never forget the Pentagon's 9/11 memorial chapel which was built right after the horrific attack of sept, 11th. It was actually a dream of life time to be inside the Pentagon and get to talk to those who run the most effective army of the world any ways. I asked couple of military officers how they thought of Iranian situation and many said they wish they would never have to go in there and would be glad to see the Iranian people decide their own future, however they were certain, just like I am, that the regime's military has no chance against the brute force of the United States armed forces.

Back at AEI, Mr. Michael Ledeen has always been gracious and kind to me, and I often thank him for what he is doing with respect to the Iranian issues and raising the awareness of the American public about that helpless nation.

Will keep you posted as my journey goes on in the land of the free and home of the brave!

P.S: I also had the honor of meeting Sheema Kalbasi and her beautiful daughter. She also signed her books for me. I appreciate it, Sheema. Thanks a bunch!

I hate them fuckers in the Pentagon, Winston. Except for the Commandant of the Marine Corps! Urah! And the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Peter Pace, USMC. Semper Fi! To hell with the rest of them.

(just kidding. maybe only half of them suck ass)

Oh, I agree Frieda about Sheema! She and Brooding Persian were the first Iranian bloggers I started following. I'd say I'm her biggest fan but I suspect she has a lot of fans and it might be stiff competition :)
