I often think that even those who left Iran, whether forced to leave or chose to leave, are indeed refugees. Iran is not a country it used to be so it makes sense if every one wants to escape from that hell hole. However, some carry on with their lives abroad and some have difficulty to do so. All of us are part of the Iranian diaspora and the Islamic regime has made us refugees and homeless around the world. We'll all go back to a free and prosperous Iran... Our time will come!
Keep strong Iranian refugees!

It was a good post. I am totally with you on the issue of Iranian refugees and urge other compatriots to put their efforts together to extend a helping hand to their fellow beings.

It's interesting that you posted this today. I met Khaled Hosseini ( author of Kite Runner) yesterday and he was telling the audience how important it is to get involved with UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees).

See my blog regarding the book signing.
Frieda, I am not sure if I trust any of UN's agencies...
Dear my friends outside of Iran, wherever you feel comfort and safe so you are at home. We all are the same parts of this world.
Take good care...
