Smoking Revolution

The Iranian regime funded Tehran Times newspaper claims "Smoking age reduced to under 10 in Iran". And I'm not surprised to hear it. After 29 yrs of Islamic rule & destruction, this regime couldn't be any more fruitful and healthier. Right?

very unreal! The Iranian regime has been destroying the social fabrics of the Iranian society since Feb 20th 1979. Islam is savage in nature and Mullahs act like its agents in destroying my homeland.

As you rightly say, its hard to make a short list of what has got better in the last thirty years. The government has even failed to drum in the message to young kids that smoking is bad for you. This is the way I see things, if someone tries to ram something down your throat you throw up, and similarly whatever the Islamic Republic tries to ram down people's throat has a reverse effect and people reject it. It may be better for the regime to say smoking is very Islamic and good for you, then may be youngsters will reject smoking

I suppose if you can marry a six year old girl, a ten year old can smoke.

Nice place, thanks for visiting and come back again.

Sorry; 2nd try...I hope it works this time. I know this is off-topic, but have you seen this tribute to Ronald Reagan video? It makes me cry every time I see it; he was such an amazing man and will always be my hero. Also, I am half-way through Mark Steyn's America Alone. I love it! He is so brilliant and outrageously funny. Thanks for the reading suggestion.
