This is President Reagan speaking about the late Shah of Iran in summer of 1980 months before the election. And I've always wondered what would have been the outcome of the Islamic revolt of 1979 had there been a Republican president in the White House instead of dimwit Jimmy Carter. I'm sure the outcome would have been extremely different.
