Massacre

Khamenei just finished his freaking sermon with saying that he's willing to give his life to defend the regime and Islam. I think this game just got a whole lot uglier. Now the fight is on. The innocent defenseless Iranian people Vs a regime that is armed to the teeth. I have a horrible feeling about this thing. I think he's ordered the regime's security forces to unleash its power against the protesters. Massacre awaits the Iranian people...

And Obama wants to negotiate with the guy. Unbelievable.

the only hope for the people is that there is some kind of coup within the Revolutionary Guard when they see the slaughter ordered by the Regime. Iran needs some heroes right now within the ranks of the security forces who will rally others to the side of the people.

not much of a chance. IRGC is pretty ruthless.

Winston, if you should get through to your friends or anyone in Iran, advise them to wear scarfs or masks(and to carry extras for others) during protests or demonstrations.

Zbigniew Brzezinski lies, lies and exposes his boss Jimmy Carter's rotting agenda:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aua7Ub5LkAE

This interview is such a revelation, listen to his every word and every sentence. After all Zbigniew Brzezinski is a Jimmy Carter adviser. Zbig is lying through his teeth, Tehran's population is not 7 million as he emphasizes twice in the interview, Tehran's population is close to 11 million. He is very cunning and repeats fallacies peppered with the obvious such as: "Tehran is not all of Iran". The man is a cheerleader for the Ayatollahs. He is subscriber of the philosophy that repeating a lie will make it the truth. What is he trying to prove? He also says there is no picture he has seen from anywhere outside of large cities, this is because he does not want to see them. There have been brutal crackdown in every corner of Iran, the rural villagers are some of the biggest opponents of the Ayatollahs and they dream the regime is toppled. He also is putting Ebrahim Yazdi on a pedestal as he claims Yazdi is trying to reach out to the USA, it is because Ebrahim Yazdi has been an operative of Jimmy Carter's CIA for many years since before the revolution. Zbigniew Brzezinski is Shameful liar, sworn enemy of justice, peace and democracy.

Although I've contacted Congress members from my state, I really feel helpless in this issue, so I can imagine how Iranians in the Diaspora are feeling right now.

Are protesters arming themselves at all to protect themselves?

Louise said...

Fearless, your calls to Congressmen seem to have worked. They've voted 405 to 1 in favour of a resolution supporting the protesters. Ron Paul is the stinker who opposed it.

@Louise: Yes, I just saw that on the news a little bit ago. America has spoken. Now Obama has little reason to jump on board.

Louise said...

But will he??? He's spineless and I'm not to certain he understands or even agrees that his primary purpose is to serve the interests of the United States of America.

Winston, I hope your mom and the rest of your family and friends are safe. phoenixgirl

Correction from my previous comment: "Now Obama has little reason NOT to jump on board."

Louise: I feel the same way as you. Here is an interesting article from the Wall Street Journal that you and others here might like to read: "Obama's Iran Abdication"

Wise quote from this article: "Now the President who likes to say that "words matter" refuses to utter a word of support to Iran's people. By that measure, the U.S. should never have supported Soviet dissidents because it would have interfered with nuclear arms control."

Obama, as the man of "change" you say you are, why the double standard?

Fearless, I am Canadian. Other than Winston's blog, I am searching in vain throughout the Canadian blogosphere and news articles for any strong statement in support of the Iranian people. Even our PM, Stephen Harper, hasn't said anything, other than a statement made in our parliament. We need a strong statement directly from him to the Canadian public. I still haven't seen it.

I don't have TV. I put it in storage It's a lost cause and I canceled my cable subscription a long time ago, because all of them, especially CBC, are so anti-American it's frightening.

Louise, I thought that Canada was one of the first to condemn the poll results and what is happening.

Louise said...

That condemnation came from a cabinet minister who was meeting with Hillary Clinton. To date there has been no statement from our PM that I can find. Nothing on his website and nothing in the press.
