September 11th was possibly one of those rare tragic days in my life. It was like my best friend was murdered or you could say it was like some one I deeply cared for was violated. It's also one of those days that you forever will remember where you were, what you were doing and how you were. We'll remember how a bunch of evil Muslims changed our lives and our world forever. We can not forget those who died in WTC, the Pentagon and on flight 93. And we should not forget who perpetrated such acts of evil. 9/11 was the day an evil ideology showed its true colors.
For the sake of history here are the two most important statements in
President Bush's speech in the aftermath of 9/11 attacks:
This is not, however, just America's fight. And what is at stake is not just America's freedom. This is the world's fight. This is civilization's fight. This is the fight of all who believe in progress and pluralism, tolerance and freedom.
Freedom and fear are at war. The advance of human freedom, the great achievement of our time and the great hope of every time, now depends on us.

Excellent post. No one who values America and what she stands for can let 9/11 pass without:
1) Remembering and honoring the victims and their families and the courageous policemen and firemen.
2) Renewing a patriotic spirit, which is tragically missing in many people.
3) Recognizing where the attack came from and vowing NEVER to forget and NEVER to let it happen again.
Unfortunately people are all too eager to forget just exactly why it does not work to appease an inhumane and brutal enemy whose main goal is not to gain something from us but to eliminate those who oppose their agenda until only those who are willing to be coerced into their system, ultimately embracing their agenda, are left.

It was one of those days that I cried all day long. It was surreal. Full of every emotion that God gave us to have. From the most severe anger, to the most intense compassion.
I was home in bed, and was awoken by a phone call to turn the tv on. I watched it by myself most of the day.
My heart aches for all that was taken that day. But a spirit arose in many. We are here to remind and remember so that we carry on and retain and fight for freedom everyday.
