Visionary

British ITN's Peter Snow interviewed the late Shah of Iran in January 1974. That's the time the British and most western nations were going through tough economic times and rising unemployment and energy crises were to begin. I think the late Shah was correct in his assessment that Britain would 'blow up' and go bankrupt due to massive social spending and permissive social discipline. That assessment also more or less led to election of Margaret Thatcher in 1979. Quite a visionary!?
