- "The protest movement is the most promising development in the Middle East in the past quarter of a century. Rather than being viewed as a sideshow, the uprising should be at the core of every policy decision made by Western statesmen on Iran. Western leaders should ask just one question whenever faced with a new set of measures towards Iran: will they help or hurt the Green Movement?"

Stop Worrying!
Stop worrying about the atomic bomb and help Iranians change the government says author of this piece on The Times of London and I totally agree with him:

Very well articulated. You present a clear and concise synopsis of the situation and the best, most logical way to handle it. If only the Clueless Wonder in the WH had at least half as much sense. Although, I'm inclined to think that he knows very well what he is doing, but that he has no regard for the Iranian people and is more than happy to assist the regime.
Totally agreed!
I fully agree. This is a historic opportunity not only for Iranians and the middle east but also for the west. Iran is the only country in that part of the world (except for turkey) that has the potential to become a real democracy.
Well said!
I agree. Merry Christmas!
I'm old enough to remember that when the Polish government tried to crush the Solidarity Movement in Poland, Ronald Reagan went on national TV and told the Polish people they had the full backing of the American people. He had only been president a few months (like Obama), and yet he had the balls to threaten the Polish government. He warned there would be serious consequences if they continued to oppress their people. He believed so deeply in liberty and economic freedom, that he wanted the Polish people to know America backed them 100%. He wasn't concerned about alienating the USSR even though it was a true global superpower. It wasn't just moral support. He committed to send food and humanitarian aid in their struggle for freedom.
Contrast that with the pathetic appeaser in the White House today who wants to negotiate with the mullahs rather than back the freedom seeking Iranian people. Obama is a hideous stain on American history and everything America has ever stood for.
I'm sad for the Iranian people that Ronald Reagan is not president today. Things would be far different if he were.
Oh no, now Kerry wants to visit the mullahs, I guess he read the London Times article.

Kerry is a Democrat. They're foes of liberty and friends of tyranny. Look at how they are transforming the great American republic into a nanny state these days. They're scum of the earth.
