Imperial Decline

It's as if the United States is rudderless. Nile Gardiner of Heritage Foundations writes in the UK Daily Telegraph:

On the world stage, Barack Obama has looked like a deer in the headlights in the face of Iran’s nuclear ambitions, the biggest state-based threat to world security since the end of the Cold War. The president has no real plan in place to stop the Mullahs in their tracks, and seems content to live with a genocidal, Islamist, nuclear-armed Tehran.

And then it gets even more scary according to the former US ambassador John Bolton:

"I very much worry the Obama administration is willing to accept a nuclear Iran, that's why there's this extraordinary pressure on Israel not to attack in Iran,"
