No-confidence vote for PM Martin

Opposition unveils non-confidence motion

"The Conservatives have tabled a motion of non-confidence in the House of Commons, setting the stage for a vote that could topple the Liberal minority government and spark a rare winter election."

And now Canada is heading towards an election but Liberals are spending huge amounts of money to thwart the efforts of the Conservatives and buy votes!

"As the government moved a step closer to being toppled, the Liberals continued making spending announcements, pledging more than $2 billion in projects Thursday."

And deputy leader of the Conservative party of Canada, Peter MacKay said all the announcements made him [PM Martin] think Santa Claus had come early.

"It was a Challenger jet with the Liberal logo of entitlement on the side, and St. Nick Paul Martin was dropping bags of money across the country."

Let's see what happens!

The Liberals have been in power for too long in Canada and it is time for a democratic change in the government.
