What's going on?!

I hear a lot about Iran and from Iran every single hour!

A few days ago I was talking to my American friend about how a well respected member of the world community (Iran) has become a real threat to the same community right after the Islamic revolution of 1979.

Actually the answer to the above question looks quite simple: Bunch of uneducated, brainwashed people were cheated by religious and left wing leaders of an illegitimate movement and overthrew their King and became hostage takers and suicide bombers in matter of months and now we are where we shouldn't be.

Any ways, today Human Rights Watch called two of Ahmadinejad's ministers as Minister of Murders. Guess who these two are:

Ladies and Gents, let me introduce Minister of Interior Pour-Mohammadi and Minister of InformationMohseni Ezhei (The same guy who prosecuted the former mayor of Tehran in a sham trial in late 1990s) --- You can listen to the BBC News Report on the story by clicking on this link

I am also providing the Iranians (Persian speaking readers) here with a Persian version of the HRW's text! (( It is in pdf format though))...

The living status in Iran is getting worse while the clerical regime is playing with the dangerous card of Nukes and Anti-semitism.

In the other hand, President Bush calls Iranian regime a real threat and vows to "end the tyranny"

Who knows what sort of news coming out of Iran the next morning we wake up!?

Let's hope for a peaceful regime change in Iran...

When you write of wanting "peaceful regime change" do you prefer to see the type of regime change that took place back in the 1950's where a democratically elected leader was deposed by the US?

Are you interested in becoming a peaceful client state to the US in a similiar fashion to the Shah of Iran?

Or do you find the invasion/occupation version currently on display in Iraq preferable?

hehehe... there are issues with that so-called popular govt of PM Mossadegh. read my previous posts (Response to cole's article) for info!

I'd like to see a peaceful regime change any how and hope it happens sooner than later!

Btw, sometimes war is the only solution to end tyranny and bring about the freedom to people wanting it.

But Iranians are capable of freeing themselves from the Mullahs if the world support them financially and morally!

Who said anything abot Mossadegh heading a popular government. (George Bush government is not all that popular among the people. And he has got issues for his issues.) He was democratically elected. It wasn't like Mossadegh was thrust to power and propped up with the backing of the US.
