I'm surprised that no one briefed her beforehand.

Dear Winston:
Do NOT PUBLISH THIS. I just wanted to draw your attention to one of the most important articles about the nuclear negotiations in Iran. You should read it first and post it in your blog.
Iran might be offered a "grand bargain" where it would get a "life insurance"--like Cuba did during the Cuban missile crisis--for it to survive permanently and it would be disastrous for all Iranains. There are also Clinton's and Brezienski's model too. Apparently Clinton offered the mullahs this grand bargain where he would sell out the Iranian people to the mullahs and it would give the regime a non-agression pact or a security guarantee forever in 1999 but it was vetoed.

The article goes into it thoroughly. Thanks Winston. The article was originally posted in Wall Street Journal but it's behind a subscription wall. But Dr. Zin has it in his site: Amir taheri, The perils of Engagment

First of all Indonesians must be idiots for naming President AN as the "most charismatic personality of the year"!!! The man is an insane lunatic muslim who has ordered the construction of a highway between "Jamkaran well" and Tehran because he believes some dead arab will be resurrected from that well at the end of times! BTW aren't most Indonesians muslims? so they should know about the rules of their own arab adopted religion!

wondered, while Iran seeks to acquire nuclear capability, and enter the 21st century, its men still refuse to shake hands with women. Indeed, it makes no sense how a backward mentality is keen in acquiring new technology. But then again a lot of things don't make sense in our world today...

Feminist groups around the world are outraged that President Ahmadjinehad refuses to shake a woman's hand.

Oh, wait a minute, no they're not.

Feminist groups are busy squealing about the big bad Bush administration - you know, the administration that employs Condeleeza Rice in one of its most powerful positions.
