To most people (leftists, baathists, islamists et al) around the world, United Nations Organization is a wonderful place which makes peace and helps poor people around the world and also stands against the US aggression with the help of Communist China and rusty Russia. French often help these two as well but UN couldn't get any worse to me. I just couldn't speak for minutes when I read who is going to attend UN human rigts council in Switzerland.
Guess who is going to lecture the world on Human Rights issues at a UN conference!?!
Iran's media butcher, freedom hater, rapist and murderer Judge Mortazavi is the one going to the Geneva conference. This idiot will appear before the Human Rights Council according to Italian AKI and mullah-run IRNA agency this week and will be addressing the council.
Needless to say that he was the one who raped and killed Canadian journalist Ms. Zahra Kazemi in July of 2003 during interrogation at Tehran's Evin prison.
UN doesn't look like a good international institution to me though, it never did but I want the useless UN to be disbanded and charges laid against Kofi & Co for sucking the wealth and blood of innocent people around the world.
Do you think UN would prevent this criminal judge from attending this funny conference? I doubt it!

Maybe it's time to treat diplomats the way Iran treats diplomats. I wouldn't object if something happened to this guy. I can't help but think this is a deliberate provocation by the IRI.

The UN needs to be folded up and put away. The corrupt dictators 'r' us club serves only to maintain the status quo and absolutely nothing to achieve it's once noble aims. Give me NATO any day.

Yep, I find it interesting that people think we are alike... I guess we have one thing in common, and that is our love for freedom. Rest seems to not matter.... (If they knew how many other things we disagree!) :)
They are a disgraceful, pathetic organization and I wish they'd locate their headquarters in another country.
