We shouldn't forget or ignore the sacrifices that the Canadian troops are making in Afghanistan to secure the world and preserve our freedoms. Unfortunately, two more brave soldiers lost their lives while eight more were wounded according to CTV.
I think it is indeed appropriate to quote Prime Minister Harper on this tragic incident:- "Canadians will never forget the sacrifice these men made on behalf of our country. While deeply saddened by their loss, we are proud of the men and women of the Canadian Forces, who continue to stand on guard for Canadian values around the world, in spite of personal risks to their own safety."

Amen. I am so sorry for your loss, but remember...it is the life they lived that made them heroes. Thank God for them. Thank God for the others who are still there. I will keep them in my prayers.
