Happy 4th of July

Happy 4th of July to all my American readers and friends.

The United States of America is the only major force of good on this planet and it should remain that way for centuries to come. I wish you all a happy 4th of July again but I must admit that there are many important lessons in the American people's struggle to have liberty, for the Iranian people today and it is the values Americans fought for and the unity that tied them together to stand firm against their oppressor. See the strong piece below, from the Declaration of Independence:
    We hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed, by their Creator, with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.

    That to secure these Rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just Powers from the Consent of the Governed, that whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these Ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its Foundation on such Principles, and organizing its Powers in such Form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.
It's a very powerful statement, if you will.

Freedom isn't free and we should all learn and remember that. To be free takes lots of sacrifice and bravery. If we want to be free and independent, we need to be ready to do the sacrifice, Americans did back in 18th century.

Iranian citizens must learn a lot from the Americans' way of fighting the tyranny. I just wish we could have American style of democracy every where, especially in my homeland Iran.

It's a powerful document.

I don't know if Iran will ever have an American style democracy, but it will be free of this regime soon, and the people can choose for themselves what type of gov't they'd like.

Happy Independence Day!

While it's difficult to imagine, I too hope Iranians will someday celebrate their independence! One way or another the Mad Mullahs will be slain. The Iranian people will then be faced with a decision that will determine the future of their children and their children's children. Will they choose freedom or martyrdom?

Let freedom ring!
