Iran's leftist students criticize Chavez

I am reading a letter written in persian language by socialist & marxist students of Iran's universities to Venezuela's president Hugo Chavez criticizing him for his cooperation with the anti-western government of Ahmadinejad.

I should get going now but once I have a chance, I will try to translate this ironic letter for my english readers but let me go through part of this interesting letter which asks Chavez this:
Why do you, as a leftist president of the revolution of Venezuela, cooperate with a government that is oppressing its workers, leftist dissidents and labor forces?
That's an interesting letter and I think Chavez may have no response to this fascinating criticism other than he would say I am using mullahs' anti-American rhetoric to sell my oil to the US at a higher price.

I'll agree with the hatred of America. He is, after all, a Communist.

Great question they ask! I'd like to see other communist groups ask Chavez the same thing. In protest marches. lol. He seems to only be loyal to his own wallet.

They are wasting the ink. Perhaps it makes them feel better.

There is an old photo of of Donald Rumsfeld shaking Saddam Hussein's hand which is used as a rallying cry for the anti-American looney left. I wonder what they will do with the photo-ops taken of Chevez and Ahmadinejad? Here they are again. In a corner and surrounded by fresh paint.

Hi!

I would be very interested in reading more of that letter. Writing a main opposition blog in Venezuela I could use this kind of material very much and even translate it into Spanish.

Please, could you contact me on this?
