Tehran Museum of Art

Enough politics for now...

Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art was founded 3 years before the Islamic revolution of 1979 and Queen Farah Pahlavi was instrumental in purchasing almost all the paintings for the museum back in 1970s.

There you can find paintings of Vincent Van Gogh, Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol, Kaddinsky and a few other famous painters.

Your Queen Farah did some wonderful things for Iran and Iranian people.
She deservedly continues to be admired and loved today.
I hope she's able to return to her beloved Iran one day soon.
