Regime is happy

Believe it or not, Islamic regime of Iran is really happy about Ambassador Bolton's resignation.

John Bolton once said:
"There is no such thing as the United Nations. United States makes the U.N. work when it wants it to work. If the U.N. Secretariat building in New York lost 10 stories, it would not make a bit of difference". John Bolton declared on February 3, 1994

The above quote is so true. I wonder who would be the next casualty of the Bush administration. Is Bush worried about 2008 elections?

Maybe this is a sign for us Iranians that we need to do something ourselves, and sooner then later instead of waiting for others to save us.

Oh, they shouldn't be too happy. Just because he's gone from the UN doesn't mean he's gone altogether. I have a strong suspicion that he's going to turn up somewhere important pretty soon, someplace that doesn't require senate confirmation.

Of course they're happy. So are most of the other countries at the U.N. Bolton upset their applecart and they couldn't wait to have him out of their hair.
I hope he stays around in an advisory position or something, but Bolton is a great loss for us at the U.N.
