
The demonstrators called on Iranian Education Minister to resign, claiming that he was concerned about obtaining nuclear energy rather than about their livelihood. They also called on Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to keep the promises he made during his election campaign and one of the slogans of the protesters was "Fake Promises Make Us Full Of Hatred".

In the meantime, women's rights activists who were detained by regime's security forces are on hunger strike Italian based AKI reports.
Update 1: Teachers and school instructors have continued the protests in front of Majlis for the 5th consecutive day and regime is getting nervous about it, BBC Persian report.
