Encouraged

President Bush Addresses the Annual National Convention of the American Legion and I found these remarks very interesting:
Iran's actions threaten the security of nations everywhere. And that is why the United States is rallying friends and allies around the world to isolate the regime, to impose economic sanctions. We will confront this danger before it is too late.
    .....
Some say Iran's leaders are not aware of what members of their own regime are doing. Others say Iran's leaders are actively seeking to provoke the West. Either way, they cannot escape responsibility for aiding attacks against coalition forces and the murder of innocent Iraqis. The Iranian regime must halt these actions. And until it does, I will take actions necessary to protect our troops. I have authorized our military commanders in Iraq to confront Tehran's murderous activities.
The fact that President Bush finally wants to take the fight to the Iranian regime is encouraging. What he could say out loudly is that "regime change" in Iran is vital to the national security of the USA. It will cripple the mullahs quicker than we think. But, hey, even this speech is great news, by all means.

I wish I could make a thumbs up sign. This is very good news. There have been a lot of very good signs coming from different parts of the world. Yesterday I read an article about France's new president saying just about the same thing.

Really, it's about time. If there's a worse cancer in the world than the Iranian regime, can't think of it.

Another good news is French Sarkozy's talk with the media and his comment regarding Iran, have you read it? Read today WSJ editorial ( sorry, I don't have the link, i get the print).

Now, for the first time since Bush's presidency, Germany, France, and British policy toward Iran is finally in the same direction.

Regime change is the only rational path, a speech is a good sign but I will believe the words when I see it materialized in action. Time is ticking away, the Islamic regime may be resuscitated if it survives through the US presidential election, I am just hoping that Bush will do something. Also hoping that they are not making a deal with the Rafsanjani clan now that the revolutionary guards are black listed.

I completely agree but I doubt Bush leaves Iran to the next US president, whoever that might be.

Have you seen the tele recently? If you look at any Iranian TV programmes these days you will see millions of Iranians celebrating and eating free food and hanging around the mosques WAITING for the MEHDI to come and make them happy. Do you think that Bush with his tough talk will make them happy? Pull the other one mate....
