Rumors from Iran

Rumors take place in non-transparent societies like Iran where mainstream media do not function as they should, i.e reporting the news as they happen, therefore people start making conspiracy theories and go nuts over them.

One of the recent rumors out of Iran todayو is that all international flights, from November 2007 onward, in and out of Iran are being canceled. I have no way of verifying this story/rumor which I heard from my friends inside of Iran, but the point is how a closed society like Iran gets nervous when international tensions arise. Indeed, it shows that many inside that country are nervous and expecting something big to happen.

Also a must read: Silence in Syria, Panic in Iran

Regime has been talking about restricting travel for a little while. I wouldn't be surprised if they shut it down for most people.

Dear Winston:
The regime is trying its best to cover its rare-end, but it can only go so far.
You know the expression in Farsi; it goes like this:

I loved this from your linked article:

"Few things rattle the mullahs' cages more than a yawn and a laugh."

Maybe we should do more of that. A lot more.

Winston, you shine a brilliant light on that tyranical regime. God bless. This is the only place were we can get all the news about what is really happening there. I'm so glad you are living in a safe country.
