Overwhelming

"We Want Freedom"
.

Fear is gone

Updated: Heavy riots and clashes in northern Iranian cities of Amol, Sari, Babol and Babolsar. Security forces mainly clashed with university students. Special anti-riot units have violently attacked people and protesters.

Updated @ 11:50pm: Just talked to my relatives back in Iran: I was told SMS, Internet and satellite communications are shut off entirely. But the good news is that 4pm rally in Tehran for Monday will go as planned.

You can donate to my Coffee Fund to keep me awake and I'll keep on reporting as much as I can and as honestly as I can. DONATE HERE

Winston: Please continue with the updates.

Can we buy you some coffee so you can blog about this all night long? These videos are jaw dropping.

You're right, people are getting brave. I think deep down, they know they vastly outnumber the police and military.
I just hope this doesn't become another Tiananmen Square styled massacre. When the mullahs get scared, they could start shooting.

I do take the coffee offer as I am dizzy from looking endlessly at news sources and talking on the phone to my friends here and there. So yes, send your donations for coffee ;-)

A question, why don't the rioters try taking and stealing the shields and weaponry from the police and soldiers? It would give them a better chance if they had their hand on defensive and possibly some offensive tools.

Great job, as usual.
But do take a break to clear your head a little and give your eyes a rest.
