Bank Melli

The Washington Post newspaper reports that apparently head of Iran's Bank Melli has fled to Canada. The Canadian paper Globe and Mail has a jaw dropping report about this man's property in Toronto.

In light of recent revelations about Bank Melli's involvement in regime's nuclear weapons program and its bankrolling of terror organizations like Hamas, it is a matter of national security for PM Harper's government to arrest this man and question him.

He lives in a house that is worth 3 million dollars. How has he accumulated such amount of wealth by being a banker for a regime that claims to represent 'the oppressed' and the poor?

Michael Ledeen writes more on this subject

Commentary mag's Michael Rubin has more on this:
"Canada should not allow itself to become a safe haven for terror financiers."
