Globe & Mail on the rally
"Some of us will not stand idly and meekly by while a principle fundamental to any free society is violently and senselessly threatened," event co-organizer Daniel Dale told the cheering crowd of between 100 and 150 people on Saturday.
"We will not stand idly and meekly by while a democracy and ally is violently and senselessly attacked." Demonstrators waved large Danish flags and carried placards proclaiming the importance of freedom of expression in a democracy. "

Were you there? Are the numbers accurate?
Sorry, I should have scrolled down...
Winston,
Thanks a lot for the pictures and the report. I am happy that you went. ;)
By the way, did you see the comments I told you about... It is driving me mad.
The numbers were very low for a city like Toronto. I would call it a bust. Canadians are far too passive. Britain learned a lesson about being passive, it is only a matter of time before we learn a similar lesson unfortunately.
Good job.
Bacon Eating Atheist Jew :
The numbers are disappointing for a city that large.
Maybe the rally was held a week or 2 too late.
