Have you noticed that...?

Has any one noticed how the rhetoric in that silly letter written by the Iranian president is similar to the rhetoric of the Anti-war leftists and lunatics?
Referring to the Iraq war, he writes, "On the pretext of the existence of WMDs, this great tragedy came to engulf both the peoples of the occupied and the occupying country."
He criticizes the U.S. for its purported use of secret CIA prisons in Eastern Europe and for the treatment of detainees at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
After his long review of world events, Ahmadinejad concludes that liberalism and Western-style democracy have not been able to help realize the ideals of humanity and have failed."
Interesting, Isn't it?

That has always been my question as to why Leftists and Iranian clerics (Generally speaking, despots) talk as if they are business partners? They sound similar to me and I don't see any difference between the two.

I completely agree with you. When I read the letter, I couldn't help but think that Michael Moore was his ghost writer. You might enjoy Dennis Prager's view on Islamic imperialism here:

Noticed? Yes. The letter takes lines right out of the democrats and liberals mouths.
This is what alQaida does, too.

Yes, see how he even uses the word "liberalism" in it's modern context, to denote somebody who believes in utopian socialism?

Whereas "liberalism" at it's most basic just means a belief in freedom, and doesn't carry the rest of that political baggage.

And as if "freedom" is not one of the ideals of humanity!?

Exactly Winston: All DNC's talking points. Soon Ahmadi-Nejad will be the liberals messiah and you will see his picture on all liberal blogs. Ahamdi-Nejad, poster boy for liberals--hahahaha

The murderous regime is lecturing us about the Human Rights and freedom. He must think we're fools like his Basiji crowd.

I have been making this claim, that the Left are standing with the Islamists, for a long time.

Many people would like to say that their intentions are different, so it doesn't mean the same. HOG WASH!

Like President said, "Either you are with us or against us." This is a long, hard war, and I do not believe others believe we are even at war. That is where all this silliness comes from.

Once we get hit again, and we will because of these idiots on both sides, no one had better utter a word out around me. I will not stand for it.

Have you also noticed that they translate 'allah' as "God" in the papers here? What's up with that?

Has Ahmadi&%#$@*^ declared his intention to become leader of the Liberal Party of Toronto or something? He sounds just like Boob Rae.

I'm guessing he sounds like the liberals because he wants to exploit the divisions in America over issues like Iraq.

Rice is already taking flack over how she repsonded to the letter. There are enough just liberal talking points in it to create false hope among them that a "peaceful" solution can be reached.

When will the lessons of the past century be learned? Peace is not attainable when evil is appeased.
