It makes me extremely crazy when I see mainstream media in North America think Bush and Ahmadinejad are the same type of statesmen we have in the world, and the disgusting part is that CNN goes beyond that and puts Ahmadinejad's crappy speech next to Bush's legitimate speech and compares them.
Some body gotta tell these Ahmadinejad lovers that if any one of them likes Ahmadinejad more than Bush, he can take Ahmadinejad and keep him where he likes and gives him whatever position he pleases.
It's freaking disgusting... I think I should discontinue my cable TV subscription just because I can't take this shit any more.

I agree... It is stupid. I think these people should live in Iran to see how similar their lives will be under that regime as opposed to the one they have. I am pretty sure they will change their mind quickly.
Exactly! Did you see what he told Anderson Cooper when cooper told him about freedom of media in America?
Every one who likes this naughty guy, should take him and put him in power in their own land.
Did you see Hugo Chavez's speech?
Winston,
Thank you for your unique POV. I didn't catch the Cooper interview. What did the runt have to say about our media?
I watched the interview that CNN squirrel did with AJ last night... what's his name? Robertson May? I forgot. The man with two last names and no first name. Anyway...
It looked like all fluff to me: "Oh, you have a nice smile, mister Ahmadinejad! Did you have a nice trip, mister Ahmadinejad? How is the weather in Iran, Mister Ahmadinejad?"
I know the questions weren't quite that inane, but that was the general feel I had from the interview.
Why bother? Seriously, why bother putting AJ's face on American television if they are just going to give him opportunities to say whatever he wants to say, without challenging it?
I just remembered why I don't like CNN, last night.
Sahar, good to see you! When are you going to start blogging again?
Sahar,
Did you see Hugo Chavez's speech?
Yes, great speech! Very entertaining! Almost as good as Nikita Kruschev's famous speech when he said "We will bury you!" - hopefully Hugo's plan will go even worse than the USSR's did :)
He got himslef in a lot of trouble today. All the democrats who used to support him are getting as far away from him as they can. I think he's gone too far and he's going to pay for it, sooner or later.
This idiot is claiming that Iran is freer than United States:
Kenneth Roth, executive director of Human Rights Watch, said "Iranian journalists are imprisoned and newspapers are closed” and that "elections are not free." He added: “You speak of the rights of Palestinians but Iran provided rockets to Hezbollah that killed Palestinians in Israel. Would you be willing to change your policies at home?” This led Ahmadinejad to claim that his country was freer than the United States.
“Please don’t allow yourself to be involved in the domestic politics of other countries or there is much more we can all say. If you think you can affect our people with your statements you are wrong. We had free elections—I spoke with people and they chose me. This is a unique, pure democracy, which is impossible in your country. Which country is freer and more democratic? I am ready for an independent discussion on this. Let people decide for themselves. By creating a wind now you are creating a bigger storm,” Ahmadinejad said.

Craig, was that the same speech where Khruschev took off his shoe and started banging it on the podium, or am I conflating two speeches?
Anyway, I think theirs was a cunning strategy of Chavez making Ahmadinajad look sane...
I think we should dialogue with them some more, see what they mean when they say Bush is the devil... Let's talk about it...
In Capitallism, every cash register is a polling booth. While you are paying for CNN, you are voting to keep then on.
Chavez is crazy. I hated his speach. It is such a shame. I think he should be ashamed to open his mouth again. And supporting Ahmadinejad... That is another good indication that he really needs some brain and logic and honesty and many more things that I cannot list here. Well, as Craig said, that may be beginnig of an end to their ruling. Let's hope.
Hi Craig (sorry Winston for chatting in your blog)... :)
Thanks for the note. I am not writing, because things are too screwed up to make any comments anymore. It is just driving me mad. I may start to write again, when I have a thicker skin. :) Thanks for your loyalty my friend.
Hi Amir,
Two different speeches, but yours with the shoe is a better example because it was also at the UN :)
The spokesman for the mullahs got to speak to CFR in New York also, he managed to insult everyone in the room. If only he had spoken to AEI in DC, someone would have responded *properly to his nonsense.
Hi Sahar,
Maybe you just need a break... things get so bad sometimes I don't even read blogs for months at a time. So, I know what you mean. Glad to see you commenting at least though :)
This is the Left's way of proving they are not racist bigots.
Of course, the real way to prove that would be if they would cover real Iranian issues and show what it is like there for Persians... and what the people really think about that government and such.
