Criminal Rafsanjani

Rafsanjani is probably the 2nd most hated (if not the most hated) person among the Iranian people. He's simply hated for his corruption and criminal past. No one can deny that. So many dissidents and political activists were killed during his time in office as the president in 1990s. Mykonos massacre in Berlin, a systematic killing of journalists, dissidents, authors and poets inside of Iran from through out 1990s and a series of foreign terrorists attacks were all done under his watch. His nickname in Iran is Shark (Kooseh) .

Today is the 15th anniversary of one of those terror attacks in Argentina where a Jewish center was bombed and around 85 innocent people died. Rafsanjani is not in this to reform the regime. He's in this game to save his own skin. He is as evil as Khamenei and Ahmadinejad. Unfortunately, the naive leftists in the west and some pro-regime Iranian idiots are promoting him as if he is a sane clean individual. Probably these morons have forgotten the past and the horrible crimes this thug has committed. The ongoing protests in Iran are no longer about the vote or a new election. The protests have targeted the foundations of the Islamic regime. The end goal for all us should be to have a free and democratic Iran. Let's help achieve this goal!

Iranian people deserve to be free and live in peace.

Well said. The choice is very simple. People must say No to the regime in its entirety, not choose this faction over the other. They're all criminals, from Seyyed Ali Geda and his monkey boy to so-called reformists like Khatami, Rafsanjani and Moussavi. No to theocracy. No to the Islamic republic. Period.

Winston, did you see this? Ahmadinejad is accusing the oppostion of plotting with Israel to assassinate him:

'Israel plotted Ahmadinejad killing'

Israel planned to assassinate Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad during the country's elections last month, Teheran's Intelligence Chief Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Ejei claimed Friday.

Mohseni-Ejei told the state-run Fars news Agency that Israel, collaborating with Iranian Mujahedeen opposition members, met in Egypt and France to plan Ahmadinejad's killing.

"The Zionist leadership met with members of the opposition near Sharm e-Sheikh in Egypt and also met with them in Paris in order to plan the assassination of Ahmadinejad," Mohseni-Ejei insisted.

"Opposition members set several conditions for the implementation of this mission and asked that the US and other factors remove the organization's name from its list of terror groups. The enemies even contacted rebels in eastern Iran to get their assistance," Mohseni-Ejei said, referring to Sunnis fighting against the country's Shi'ite government.

Rafsanjani has done in the past and will only do what is to his own benefit. We have to boycott and expose companies that do business with Iran and be actively contacting elected officials in other countries to start sanctions right now.

This Iranian-American one wouldn't mind if our friends Mossad actually did plot something like the raptor describes...

Winston, Thanks for the information. Seems like the USA press has no interest in reporting what is going on in Iran these days. Your updates are timely and even some are giving me a tiny speck of hope for Iran and it's people. I'm afraid the same cannot be said for our country. Obama is moving at breakneck speed to destroy our economy and culture. Alas, the American people are beginning to wakeup. Thank God.
